I love watching the aerospace industry with its constant strive towards optimization and pushing the bleeding edge of what's possible with current technology. I want to join a team to help solve complex problems that can advance our understanding of the universe and obtain humanity's foothold on another planet.
Aerodynamics
The art and science that goes into designing aerodynamic surfaces is mindblowing to me. Every percentage of optimization and efficiency matters with the key challenge of balancing strength, weight, and ease of manufacturing. I want to immerse myself and be part of the innovation.
Propulsion
Knitting atoms together on the level of God, now that's a job description. Full flow stage combustion, aerospikes, ramjets, scramjets, they are all so interesting to me, with their gains and tradeoffs. Who wouldn't want to work with controlled explosions and fire?
